We'd spent almost a week on Charlotte waiting for Pat and Alex to be ready to go. A good place to hang out and watch the cruise ships coming and going every day. This time we were going back to the BVI with R'Pelican and hoped to visit some new places.
Unfortunately R'Pelican was having engine problems so we switched plans and pulled into the cutely named Christmas Cove. I looked but couldn't see any reindeer, Santa's Grotto or any presents for me. Why did they call it Christmas Cove if there wasn't a Santa???? Instead we had crystal clear water, great snorkelling and close encounters with turtles and a barracuda sitting in 3' of water. Those boys are scary when you are swimming but don't bother me at all when I'm diving. Somehow I feel less vulnerable in a wetsuit.
