Our third visit to the BVIs. The first was two years ago when we chartered a 36’ Beneteau as a test to see if we would like the cruising lifestyle. It must have been OK because here we are on our own boat this time.
We are anchored in The Bight, Norman Island once more in the corner near the floating Willie T ship / bar. When we were here 2 weeks ago it closed early in the evening so we thought we’d be OK. NO. The last clients may have dinghied back to their boats at 11pm, but the staff were in the mood for heavy metal, excessively loud rock anthems until after 4 in the morning. If I ever hear another guitar riff it will be too soon.
