The priority today is to clean below deck top to bottom, bow to stern. During our three days in the boat yard the wind blew in dust and dirt that covers every surface and crunches under your feet. I have the washing machine attacking our sweaty, grimy shorts and shirts and the vacuum cleaner on anything that's nailed down and won't disappear up the hose. David has to keep moving or I'd hoover him. Finally it's all done including washing ceilings, walls and all the woodwork and we are transformed from grimy 'before' to gleaming 'after'.
Lunch, a swim and a well deserved hour with our books. Dinner tonight was a Spanish mackerel we caught on passage..
The first arrivals from the World ARC arrived this morning. They've had a horrible 6 days from St Lucia and we hear reports of ripped sails These boats are on a schedule to circumnavigate in just 15 months. It's taken us that long to come from Florida.
