Sunday 22 January Torrent Bay

There's so much to see and not enough time to linger too long! After breakfast we continued our trip around the Abel Tasman park and moved 10 miles south to Torrent Bay which a local recommended as the best anchorage in the park. We went from a big bay with two foreign boats to a smaller one with 15 local boats. There locals know the best spots and it's been wonderfully protected with no swell to rock us awake at night. There's another gorgeous golden beach and here there are some private houses overlooking the beach as well as a DOC (department of conservation) hut and camp site for walkers.
