The time has come to continue our journey and wave farewell to Nelson. Behind us are four days of sight seeing, making new friends and good food, ahead is the narrow pass between the Abel Tasman sea and the Marlborough Sounds. Our last task while alongside with shore power and unlimited water is to clean Jackster bow to stern. In trhe few days we've been here the wind has covered us with a gritty dust and our lady deserves to be a gleaming example of ship shapedness.
As we were finishing off Paikea Mist came into town and took the slip next to us. There was time for a hello, how've you been and see you soon before we had to leave to make our night time destination before sunset.
