Continuing in our theme of alternative / DIY/ money less life style, we turned a duvet into gin! How you ask? A new kind of alchemy? If only. No, we gave one of our two duvets to a cruiser who's returning to NZ for the summer and he kindly bought us a G&T at the island bar. Within our current long term cruising plans the next time we'll be 35° away from the equator will be when we reach the tip of South Africa and that's a while away. In NZ we dipped down to 41S and when the winds blew from the south and the cold Arctic ocean it was chilly. The penguins liked it but we've grown used to warmth.
Hey Jackie and Dave! Just got caught up on your blog and excited for you to be in Fiji! Love that place! Sounds like you're having a ball! I looked for your email to write privately but don't seem to have it. Send me one so I have yours again. Lots going on here to tell you about too! (Short version: Eric has emergency heart surgery last week but he's fine now! Scary!) Write me!
