The
first coat of antifoul went on at 9am and the second coat seven hours
later. After the slog of Sunday when we sanded, this was pay day off
with the new paint gleaming black. In between waiting for the first
coat to dry we reassembled the propeller with new races, new ball
bearings, new seals went on the prop shaft and the propeller back on
the shaft.
The
bow thruster had been drained of old oil a couple of days ago. Now
we fitted new oil seals, filled with new oil and refitted into the
hull.
