We
finished the recovering of the helm today with the placing of the
centre boss. I've suggested we keep a pair of cotton gloves ready
for when we have to hand steer or I'll make a protective cover for
the new cover. The first dirty mark or scratch will be a defilement.
It's
Mayday holiday here but restaurants are still open. We went out for
a smart Indian meal not far from the marina with Jackie and Gary from
Inspiration Lady. They are leaving their boat in Danga Bay for six
months while they travel home to Canada. We've said goodbye to the
Inspiration Ladies on a number of occasions and then our paths cross
once more. I'm sure we'll see them again.
