Up anchor and bound for Maho Bay in St Johns, USVI which is less than a mile across the channel from Sopers Hole, BVI. I grew to love the anchorages in St Johns. They are all in national parks with mooring buoys to save the seabed from damaging anchors, there are very few buildings in view and the beaches are sandy and plentiful. At night without light pollution it’s possible to see all the stars brightly and clearly. There are a few dive sites though not much worth seeing for the effort it takes to kit up. Often it was better to snorkel and you saw just as much.
