28 Feb 2009 Red Cross parcels from England

Today our friend Ron arrived from England with a Red Cross parcel of goodies, his dive kit and a return ticket for 2 weeks’ time.    Included in the goodies were Friday’s edition of The Telegraph because I enjoy the cryptic crossword (and we wanted to catch up on news), 3 big bars of Toblerone which sent David into Cheshire Cat mode, Assam and Earl Grey tea for me, Tesco sunblock because it’s very good and excellent value and an antennae to amplify WiFi signals.   This was sooo brilliant that a few days later I was able to listen to my favourite Radio 4 programmes which as many people know includes The Archers.   Quite unreal to be listen to a show about rural England when we are so far away.
