1 May 2009 A bayful of characters

Simpsons Bay has it's own sailing community. Some have been here many years and live on their boats, others are like us and passing through on route south and at this time of the year there are many, many boats make preparations to sail home to Europe for the summer season. As the weeks have progressed the bay has emptied out. There are now only a handful of the super yachts as the rest have gone to the Med for their summer charters. I'm ready to leave now. We still have more projects to finish to put us in tip top shape
