The tide flows into the bay and we float over the silted up channel and off to the Islas Rosarios 20 miles to the south west. It's a fine morning sail and we negotiate the shallow channel and into the anchorage. As soon as the anchor is down I've lowered the swim ladder and jumped into the clear water. Bliss to be back in the swim again. Our last time in the water was at Santa Cruz, Curacao more than 3 weeks ago.
We're invited for sundowners aboard Inspiration Lady with Jack from Anthem to discuss tomorrow's departure time and which channel we prefer for entrance into the San Blas chain. The San Blas are a chain of coral reefs and small islands sitting atop a 70 mile ledge extending from the eastern coast of Panama.
An early night in readiness for an early start tomorrow. It feels so good to be back on anchor with the clear skies above
