Friday 15 October Foa island

Just before dawn there was a change in wind direction which made the anchorage uncomfortably roly. A good time to move east behind the reef at Foa Island to get protection from the swell. On the way we caught and lost a mahi mahi and then caught a tuna. As the icing to the trip we spotted a single male humpback whale spouting close to the boat. We hung around and followed him for half an hour but he was a shy whale and we didn't get close.
In our nice sheltered anchorage we got the barbecue out and shared barbecued tuna with Jack (Anthem) and Stuart (Imagine).
