Yesterday the wind blew and blew which was good for wind generators but not good for the villagers who'd lit a fire on shore. The wind fanned the flames and by mid afternoon the hillside was ablaze and the boats were covered in ash. Fortuitously it rained for the first time in a month dampening the blaze and washing our decks. With calmer sea conditions we were able to get together a dive party to explore the second pinnacle in the channel. Frank (Tahina) took us and Neil from Attitude and Eric, Annie and their son Bear sped ahead in their Boston Whaler.
This second pinnacle wasn't marked with a buoy as the first was so Eric dropped his anchor to the side and Frank tied onto his boat. While there wasn't as much sea life on this pinnacle as on the first it was still a good dive with appearances from a large spotted puffer and a couple of pretty nudibranchs.

Eric ready to drop |
In the evening we'd arranged to meet at the barbecue bar for dinner and games. In conversation a few night ago Annie and I were talking about a game she knew as 'butt darts'. In butt darts each contestant has to carry as many coins as possible held in their butt cheeks over a distance and then turn, bend and deposit into a cup or tray. See the pictures to see what happened when we played this evening. David was crowned Musket Cove Butt Darts champion 2011 with a staggering, or is that mincing, 22 coins carried and deposited. Well done David.

All Strawberry Monkeys |
Following the games Eric and Annie from Oso Blanco invited and recruited new members to join the exclusive Strawberry Monkey Yacht Club founded in Mexico in 2008. To join a boat has to go through a series of initiation tasks; write the boats name figuratively using your butt, learn the secret handshake and pledge allegiance to the Strawberry Monkey. Here are the Jacksters, Stray Kitty, Tahina, Trim and Tyee joining Oso Blanco with our club t-shirts.
