When we did the shark dive on Friday one of the wranglers gave me a bull shark tooth he'd picked up as a souvenir. I thought it would be n ice to have it mounted in silver so I can wear it as a necklace but we tried several jewellers and none were interested in undertaking the work. David can perhaps help me with a fixing or I'll try in NZ.
My second errand was to post my new Canon PowerShot G12 back to the UK for repair. It lasted 2 months before going wrong - over exposing images - and I've struggled on until now as it's completely failed. Despite Canon being an international houeshold name, their warranty is repair only, not replacement and only in the country of purchase hence the need to post it back to UK. While I'm without an image machine I'll be asking friends for copies of their photos and the poor blog with appear without illustrations :(
As we were in town we had to have lunch – would have been rude not to and a nice break to have a day of not cooking. Portions are so generous we don't eat in the evening.
