I was in seventh heaven with my presents, like a child at Christmas I got up pre dawn to open the presents Jackie and Gary had brought from Canada. David's 'seventh heaven' came after breakfast – a trip into Waikawa and a visit to the chandleries and boat shops ranged one after the other along the road. His face was beaming with the pleasure of the fix. He also had his boat presents to play with back on board.
