We have the wind with us and time to do it. Onwards to Picton in the Queen Charlotte Sound and a long overdue meet up with Gary and Jackie King on Inspiration Lady. It's been 14 months since we saw them in Opua. They been home to Canada. We've been up in the islands and they've brought us boat goodies from the US.
At 6pm Jackster was anchored within shouting distance of the Inspirational Ladies int Waikawa Bay (adjacent to Picton) and thirty minutes later we were on board for catch up and dinner.
Like all the best parties we went home with a goodie bag; boat parts for David and late birthday / Christmas presents for me, a camera, a Kindle and a watch.
