Tuesday 18 September One perfect manta ray

Another day another good bye. Yesterday we said goodbye to Rochelle, David and Eva on Sea Esta. They have another 6 weeks of Fiji cruising. We've got to head back to Denarau in the next couple of days.

Today we're anchored close to Manta Ray pass so called because manta rays are seen here daily when the tide turns. Deep water on either side of a shallow shoulder increases the speed of the water through the pass which brings in these beautiful animals. We may have seen lots in the Maldives on dive trips, but like dolphins, one never tires of seeing mantas.
This afternoon only one came to play, but one is always better than none.
