Blue Lagoon resort, Sea Esta and Vixen 7 ahead

It was a mere skip, about 4 miles, around the corner from Malakati to the small anchorage in front of the upmarket Blue Lagoon Resort (this is north of the Blue Lagoon). IOn the way we caught a barracuda which we gave to the dive guide who is the brother of Ty who took us out to Simis's Maze yesterday. 
The three boats squeezed in between the flanking reefs for a visit to the resort and to dive the house reef 200m behind us. The resort made us most welcome which isn't always the case in this part of Fiji.

The dive was a super easy and shallow swim along the wall (against the current) and then back over the top to the mooring buoy where we'd tied our dinghies. There was more beautiful hard corals to see, and for the first time in a while, soft corals too. And the current also brought in schools of large fish because where's there's current there's food for the fishes.
