With
our new batteries delivered and fitted by David on 2nd of
January we were ready to leave Palau and continue on to the
Philippines. All we needed was a kindly weather forecast. What we
kept getting was a forecast showing a possible low system developing
to the east of Palau and tracking west to the Philippines along our
intended route but now the wait is over – the low cell passed to
the north on Wednesday leaving days of north east trades in it's
wake. Tomorrow we can call the authorities to do our clearance.
