The
penultimate day of Amy and Andrew's holiday; they fly back to Perth
tomorrow afternoon. For their last evening we've come to Nai Yang
bay which is within sight of the airport, perhaps less than 2 miles
from the departures lounge. We had a lazy afternoon swimming and
reading, chilling and enjoying the sunshine in flat conditions.

However,
somewhere over the horizon there might have been a storm because half
way through the night while we were drifting around our anchor in no
wind the swell built and rolled in. We rolled side-to-side, OK
for us, we're used to it, not OK for Amy who had to have a
seasickness tablet for breakfast. We spent most of the day ashore,
first walking the beach from end to end and then a last Thai massage
and a long, leisurely lunch. There's was just time for a last
swim before we took our lovely guests ashore to catch a taxi to the
airport. It was sad to see our young friends leave. We've had lots
of fun and having guests enthuses us to do more, see the islands
through fresh eyes, a chance to talk to non yachties. They brought
us boat bits, books for which we were pleased. They didn't bring us
coughs or colds for which we were most grateful.
