It was an early start to get in and buy a baguette or two. Jack from Anthem gave us a lift in his dinghy and we were able to help him lift it up the beach after racing through the surf between the rocks. A pretty little village. The priest was out raking the lawns in preparation for a Catholic festival tomorrow. He invited us to join the music making before the service begins. From the bakery we bought the last five loaves in the shop, I scrumped mangoes and then onto the little church and what a sweet church. It's made of local stones for the walls, local wood for the ceiling and Marquesian wood carving. The stain glassed window particularly attractive.
We'd finished our exploration by late morning leaving plenty of time to sail 2 miles north to a sandy bay we passed on the way here.
Exceptionally clear water though the snorkelling was disappointing as we only saw rocks and a few fishes.
