Sunday 6 Jan Breakfast with a view

After yesterday's hike in the heat we were treated to a more leisurely sightseeing experience this morning; breakfast cruise on the harbour. It felt like pure luxury to sit on the sky deck of Captain Cook Cruises flagship and enjoy a glass of champagne while we slipped around the harbour, pausing to take a trip to the buffet for smoked salmon and fruit, full English breakfast and friend Bob doing the commentary. A delightful start to the day and we were home before lunchtime although we didn't eat again until a slurp of soup late in the evening.

  1. I've been catching up on sailing blogs and find you in Sydney. Although my hometown,I've entered it through the Heads only once and that was on fishing boat laughing over the rail.
To sail into that harbour on my own boat has been a dream since riding the Manly ferry into town all those years ago. I'm glad Jackie can cross that same dream off her bucket list.
And to anchor within earshot of the lions roaring from the zoo. Well.....superb.
