David
nobly stayed home today while I took a trip down the coast to see the
countryside south of Sydney and to visit Cathy's Mum and Dad at
Colevale. After yesterday's heat it was a grey and misty day. We
had lunch looking out over the ocean from their cliff top house. I
wouldn't object to a house with a view like this.
Cath
then drove us back to her house in the city via one of the largest
DIY stores I've seen – David was missing a real treat here though
we wouldn't have been able to move him for at least two hours.
As
I was staying for dinner and overnight I had time to play computer
games with the children, chat with Andrew and we had lots of time to
catch up on girly chat although it did feel strange to be without the
Cap'n and to sleep ashore. Big bonus was the walk in shower with
unlimited hot water. A special treat if you live on a boat.
