Our
bikes had another outing today south to Anna Bay where

| beach and dunes behind |
sand dunes
meet the sea. It took us 45 minutes to cycle over, some of the way
on cycle paths and suddenly the vegetation gave way to towering hills
of golden sand. It was an impressive sight; camels available for
rides, 4wd to hire and buses for tourists to see the interior. The
most we managed was sitting at the café looking at the dunes and a
short walk on the long beach and paddling in the sea.
Our
route back was through the Tomaree park and although I kept looking
up I have yet to see a koala.
