Leaving
Manly with our revamped main sail we had a lively sail up to
Tangalooma on the west side of Moreton Island. We spent almost a
week here before Christmas waiting for a window to make the trip to
Sydney. Then we had sunshine now it's cool and rain threatening.
As
we were approaching the anchorage we got a radio hail from
Micromegas, our Swiss friends Chantal and Fredy. They were already
there and had spotted us on our way in. Of course we had to catch up
over one of Chantal's excellent coffees and it seems most appropriate
we should meet here. We'd sailed together from New Caledonia to
Brisbane in November and while David and I went to Sydney, Fredy and
Chantal took a trip home, now we are both making our way north and
eventually the Sail Indonesia Rally and can sail together once more.
