30 December How far have we come in 2013?

Following the tradition of end of year round up I decided to do some counting. In 2013 we've covered 6,500nm from Sydney to Thailand, visited 5 countries (Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand) crossed the equator back into the northern hemisphere for the first time in 3 ½ years, passed from the Pacific via South China Sea to the Indian Ocean, crossed paths once more with friends from years before and made more new friends than I can count.

I even calculated how far we've travelled and number of countries visited since we began our adventure; 26,000nm and 40 countries, almost half way around the globe (160° from 80°W to 98°E).
