The
day began bright and calm so we went for a walk around Naval Island.
It was 11am and already the beaches and road sides were packed with
families enjoying a traditional Christmas Day braai (aka barbecue).
Gazebos were set up, tables and picnic chairs laid out.
And
then the weather changed suddenly to coming from the south, strong
enough to lift the gazebos and turn over the chairs. The wimps
packed up and went home. The hardy put on a coat and refused to give
in to a little strong wind.
On
Jackster we had our meal in the evening in the comfort of our own
boat and a merry time was had by all.
