After
our rolly experience at Coco Banderas we moved south, just 2 miles or
so, in to the lee of Esnasdup island. Using Bauhaus charts and
Google Earth imagery it is an entry. We dropped the anchor in 7m on
grass and sand at 09°28.97N 078°40.26W, and let 35m of chain
dropping back to 8m depth. The water is gin clear. I can see the
bottom under the boat and we are wonderfully protected all round.
North
of Esnasdup there is a lagoon surrounded by reef so if you want to
feel the breeze across the deck this is the spot. Panda with Michael
and Edie who are net controllers on the San Blas SSB net were in
here. We went over to say hello and be given more valuable San Blas
information. This is their tenth year spending the winter in Panama
and they know everyone.
Here's
mine with four layers of cloth and many colours depicting abstract
jellyfish. I think it will look well stretched over card as a wall
hanging.
It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks. We don't buy many souvenirs.
