2021 will go down as the year of maintenance. With our cruising plans affected by Covid restrictions we have been concentrating on staying in one country and giving Jackster a top to toe exam with work as required. It began with the haul out in Carriacou in April and we expect to be working through the projects until the end of the year.
But it's not only Jackster needing ongoing maintenance. I'd like to go to the dentist for a check up and clean so how do you find a good one? I asked expats who they would recommend and searched the Grenada Cruisers page of Facebook for their recommendations. I found a practice which has good word of mouth reviews.
We both went and were very happy with our choice and as a bonus the practice was close to my hairdressers for a trim and the big supermarket as a last call before catching the bus back to the marina.
Now I'm smiling with confidence that my teeth are sparkling – ready for my first trip back to the UK for two years. I leave in just over two weeks.
