It was a sunny and remarkably dry Saturday morning in a wet week so on a whim we decided to go for a ride along the south coast and have lunch at La Sagesse restaurant (as recommended by friends). It felt quite hedonistic to have no other purpose than lunch with a view.
Turning off the main road we took the track to the hotel passing a building yard as we went. What made the yard remarkable was that all the signage was in Chinese. We later found this is a project with China to build affordable housing for Grenadians with workers and equipment brought in for the job.
Lunch was relaxed and pleasant and somewhere we wouldn't have visited without a bike, or car.
