It was our lucky day. I took a ride in the dinghy over to Ilet Cabrit with a VHF radio and a mooring line and found we had the choice of four moorings today. I radio David that he can bring the big boat over as I have my hand, and I'm not letting go, on a mooring ball. I attach my line to the metal hoop and then wait for Jackster to approach me. Standing up I can almost reach the cleat on the bow but David leaves the helm to come forward and take the line to secure us. As a dear friend used to say ''job's a good 'un''.
Next day we dive the west side of the island and come back with a couple of fish for Polly. She's a happy cat who can dine on fresh fish.
