For this evening I'd booked online a table at our preferred restaurant on the main island. In the afternoon I received an email confirming the booking.
At 7pm we arrived to find a notice on the door saying 'closed this week'. Confused but still hungry we tried a new (to us) place next to the dinghy dock and had a wonderful meal.

The oddity doesn't end here. Next morning I received an email asking for a review of our meal at the restaurant that was closed! I gave one. Literally, a 1 star review.
As a footnote the restaurant has never reopened. The leasers left owing money to their landlord and suppliers.
