tricot raye or sea snake
Micromegas arrived from Noumea yesterday morning. In the afternoon we went for a walk around the island – as it's only small it took less than 30 minutes even stopping to chat to the kite surfers on the way. This beach is renowned for kite surfing and the experts travel long distances. I believe it the combination of dependable winds and the protection from waves that the lagoon gives that bring them here.
pair of love birds!
It's a busy place; the western end is a 5* resort, the eastern end the kite surf beach and a nature reserve for seabirds.
