Thursday 22 November Time to go

It's time to go, to leave new Caledonia and head west to Australia.  The weather forecast suggests we'll have 4 days of good south easterlies and a final day of light winds to blow us into Brisbane.  It had been our original intention to make landfall at Coffs Harbour further south but the weather looked dicey for our arrival there so Brisbane it is.

The hull and propeller have been checked and polished, David's checked the engine and I've filled the freezer with 5 pre-cooked meals for our crossing.   Drop the mooring line and we blow off in the breeze bound for the thirty third country on our travels.   Au revoir Nouvelle Caledonie....
