Wow!
A fantastic dive day memorable for our dive boat and for the diving.
Our Maritim boys were so wonderful loading our kit aboard and racing
out to the dive site at 30kts in their twin 350HP speed boat, air
conditioned cabin, guns, tea and biscuits. Dive guide Yuri showed
Captain Faizuh where to drop us. We descended to 20m and followed
the slope along seeing more varieties of anemones than I've ever
seen, nudibranchs, soft corals, hard corals, fish we've never seen
before and good visibility. When we surfaced it was close to a
resort dive boat and the Maritim boat was still a way off (they lost
our bubble tracks). They soon spotted us and came over. The resort
boat must have thought we were super VIPS to have these guys as our
dive boat! What a wonderful experience. What a wonderful memory.

| Ian and Yuri, our guide |
And
this wasn't all. In the afternoon we went for a second dive with
Yuri on the reef wall close to the anchorage which was within range
of the dinghy. Yuri knew there was a 20cm black frog fish at this
site but could we find him? No. Giant green turtles, more anemones
and clown fish, healthy sponges and coral almost made up for it. It
feels so good to be diving in clear water again. It feels good to be
diving.
Following
our afternoon dive we invited Yuri and Ian (researcher) aboard
Jackster for tea and biscuits to thank them for their time and to
show them what a yacht looks like from the inside.
