Today many of our friends from the Raja Ampat rally arrived at Wayag.
Where we've been on the mooring ball is exposed to the continuing strong southerlies so when during our dinghy explorations we found a large anchoring area with depths around 15m in sand with better protection and a white sand beach we decided to move. To reach the new place we had to exit the southern channel, turn through the mushroom islands guarding the entrance and re-enter into the north channel, past the second mooring ball, skimmed two shallow bommies and re-anchored. An easy 10 minute trip and a new view to gaze at. Six more boats came in during the day and all had room to anchor.
