2 December 2009 Fans

We needed to take the 10 o'clock supermarket shuttle to go to Budget Marine this morning. Last week we two oscillating fans, one for our bedroom and the other for the engine room which can be like sitting in a sauna because there is no ventilation. David fitted the first one in our cabin and it works well except since it went up there has been a good breeze and we haven't used it. When we came to fit the second one it was faulty hence the trip back to the chandlers to change. The new one is now fitted in the engine room and we hope it will make it more pleasant when work needs to be done in there. Because there is no ventilation and the seawater temperature is 27c it can be a sauna to work in. After just 15 minutes David comes out dripping in sweat. A small fan won't stop this but it will make it better.
