It was time to leave the very beautiful San Blas islands, Panama and continue on along the coast towards Colon. It was a gentle mornings sail along the coast to Isla Grande, a weekend resort island with restaurants, bars, no cars and no roads. Just one sand path behind the beach from north to south.
We had travelled in convoy with Chrisandaver Dream, CD for short, Goin’ South and Inspiration Lady and met up with them on shore for a home made coconut ice cream. After a hike (as our American cousins call it) or short stroll, from one end of the island to the other we stopped at a water front bar for a cold beer and a fresh seafood supper.
