Our friend Michele, who I met years ago when I worked for PolyGram, has come out to see for a couple of weeks of R&R and brought us lots of goodies from home, ie oil seals, an electric kettle with the UK voltage we need, a part for the watermaker, Earl Grey tea, post, laptop power adaptors so we can run then from a cigarette lighter. Fortunately she didn’t bring many clothes because there wasn’t much spare space in the suitcase.
For the two weeks she was here we had a holiday too, spending more time on enjoying the islands, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and eating lots of fresh lobster.
