| Polly's first passage |
It took 4 days to cover the 500 miles from Marquesas to the Tuamotus., from the high green islands to the low lying atolls. The first half of the journey was fast and smoothe and then we ran into the edge of a frontal system and varied between not enough wind and too much wind coming from the wrong direction. Polly the kitten proved herself a capable sailor with no sea sickness or apparen discomfort with the sailing. Each day she is gaining strength and it looks like she's going to pull through.
