Yesterday, following our overnight passage we slept in the morning and went into town in the afternoon. A local fisherman had caught a 250kg swordfish and was cleaning and gutting it on the dock. It was a huge animal and he was a big man. It had taken him just an hour to land it and now they were preparing it for cooking at his restaurant. Back on board that evening we had mahi mahi we'd caught on an earlier passage.
