We're anchored next to our English friends Mike, Ann and their daughter Jenn on Callisto whom we'd met at the Tahiti Moorea Rendezvous two weeks ago. Callisto is an Amel 54, a newer and bigger Amel than ours, which Mike has sailed down from San Diego. They came over for drinks in the evening and we gave them a tour of Jackster. It was a bit like a compare and contrast of motor homes which only loving owners of the same vehicle can appreciate.
It was a top evening, gin and tonics went well with lively conversation reminiscing about storms we've encountered (us one), equipment malfunctions and the perennial for men on a boat, house battery capacity and amps hours required. I don't know why, but the ladies conversation drifts onto it's own tack at this point. Callisto motored off in the dinghy with some new books and a promise to do it al again soon.
