Although we're not working we still don't have enough time in the day, or days to do all that we want. When we came to the Tuamotus our plan was to work our way through the islands finishing in Rangiroa and then onto Papeete for the sailing rendezvous starting on Friday. Because the winds have completely died to get to Rangiroa now would involve a 100 mile motor for a 24 hour visit and then 2 day sail to reach Papeete. It feels the effort will outweigh the pleasure so we'll stay in Toau and dive for another day and then move on to Tahiti.
Today's dive was a drift in the channel on the incoming tide. There were some sharks but too much sand in the water reduced visibility.
Fellow cat owners on Nakia, John and Linda, very generously came over with presents for Polly. A veterinary treatment for worms and a bag of cat litter, and two scratching post, tinned cat food and a selection of balls and toys their cat doesn't use, eat or play with anymore.
