Our first job this morning was to re-anchor. The wind had shifted 180 degrees from when we arrived putting us too close to a local boat which we hadn't realised was on a mooring ball when we arrived.
When we were satisfied the hook was holding us in the 25 knot winds that had blown we went ashore to explore the marina. There are some rather grand super yachts on the dock and no owners aboard (we heard) so the crews were having parties every night, behind them were waterfront restaurants and a couple of chandleries for David to indulge his passion for browsing shelves of oil filters, LED bulbs, shackles and other important gizmos.. His first chandlery fix since Panama and he didn't buy anything! My passion for a supermarket was satiated with a visit to the nearby Carrefour. Dinner that night was Deli Counter Delight, ie French bread with super runny Brie, a couple of divine pates and a fresh salad.
