We had intended to leave Opua and head out north towards the Cavalli Islands, but we had our final few hours of pre paid internet to use. If there is a universal 'like' for cruisers it's internet, only surpassed by free internet. We have been known to move to get a stronger signal on the boat.
The internet took us to lunch time, then it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, David had to check the bilge pump which spat the dummy last night, I wanted to borrow a set of DVDs of the BBC series on the South Pacific. We'll move tomorrow morning.....why rush?
David fixed the bilge pump – as simple as a piece of kitchen roll which had fallen in and blocked the outlet. I dinghied ashore to borrow the DVDs, drop books we'd read at the book swap and a final drop of rubbish and then it was evening.
