Tuesday, 22 December Happy sailing

Another good day for a sail and this time we had the sun, penguins and dolphins too. Our destination was Urquharts Bay just inside the mouth of the river to Whangarei and opposite NZ only oil refinery.

We entered the bay with our hand held GPS and lap top navigation and with the WiFi antennae hooked up to a net book looking for an anchor spot where we might reach free internet. We found an open link for WiFi but as soon as the anchor was down the signal disappeared. Isn't that typical? No great shakes as we're going alongside at the Town Basin Marina tomorrow morning.
