Yesterday's rain was replaced by cool sunshine meaning a good day to go to the shops to pick up sales bargains. I used to snicker at couples who dressed the same; Mr & Mrs Walker in the same make of water proof jacket, same hiking boots, Mr & Mrs Diver in matching wetsuits and gear, Mr & Mrs Hawaiian holiday maker in same fabric shirt and mumu dress. Sad to say we are falling into that category. Today we bought his & hers Teva walking sandals in the sales. Before Christmas we each had a pair of Hitec walking boots. So if we ever get parted on a hike, or lost head first in a snow drift the rescue services can identify as a couple by our footwear.
