Saturday 5 February Yet more scalloping

On the way to Mansion House Bay in Kawau island we made a stop to dive for scallops on the site where we had harvested our first bagful. We seem to have been doing a lot of scalloping but they are delicious and they are suitable for freezing for later eating. The scallops were as plentiful as they were a month ago and when we reached Mansion House bay there were less boats than last month.

    When Karen & I visit a local eating establisment,noix saint-jacques is allways my choice.
    I'm sure the are even nicer straight from the sea.
