Monday 6 June Diving Cabbage Patch

More diving with Jackster as the host boat once more and back to the same spot as Saturday as the wind would be blowing us onto the reef if we went on the outside. Everyone had tanks today and all had a lovely time. We were Dick and Patricia Geramar, Claudia and Jorg Dreamtime, us and Jack the dive guide. The Stray Kitties and Jarana came out in the afternoon.
The two dive we did were on bommies rising from the sand. There were some nice fishes to see and colourful anemonies and quite a ripping current at one end of the reef.
A happy day diving although when we came to raising the anchor we found we had our chain caught under bommie so David did the noble thing and dived to free the chain. A couple of other divers on board hopped in their dinghy to relay David's underwater signals to me on the windlass and once we were free we motored back to the anchorage where the chain grated horribly as we set amongst the coral.
Two more boats had arrived in the anchorage when we returned, Chamaya and Osso Blanco.
